Hello Friends,
I hope you are all doing well and are enjoying the holiday season so far. Yesterday I had my first chocolate from the Lindor advent calendar I bought. I got one for Liam too and we opened them together. This is a fun tradition I have always done with my family. I have also done a lot of shopping already for Christmas and purchased many gifts already this weekend but I still have more to do! Do you start early or wait until it is close to Christmas? I have made my Christmas wish list to share with you today. There are so many wonderful things out there created by small businesses as well and so there was a lot to choose from. The list below are the top 15 things I would love to receive this time of the year.
1.Knitting related mug
Twilla and Print have lovely mugs and this mug pictured below is so cute I would love to receive one like this. I have one other knitting related mug I love from Yarn Mamas that says Yarn and Coffee that I received from my sister a couple of years ago for Christmas.
2. Nine Perfect Strangers by Liane Moriarty.
This book looks so interesting. I love books and movies when they involve multiple people and personalities with different struggles or story lines. I find it interesting to see how people interact and how they overcome their struggles. I am so looking forward to reading this book.
3. Happy Planner for the new year
For the past couple of years I have written in the Happy Planner and have planned and organized what I wanted to do week by week. I love the stickers and washi tape and that you can add your own person touch to your plans for the week. The planner has been so helpful to keep me on track by referring to it during the week.
4. Thermos:
I asked for a thermos this year so that I can bring any coffee I did not finish at home to work or I can bring another cup into work with me. I love the style of the thermos' at Starbucks, but any thermos would make me happy so I can get in my caffeine fix before work,
5. Knitting related pins for my project bag
Twilla and Print have beautiful pins which are knitting related. This one pictured is so cute for those who enjoy sipping coffee or tea while knitting.
6. Big magic by Elizabeth Gilbert: My friend recommended this book and said it was really good. I think it would inspire creativity and would be a fun read.
7. Camera: I would like a camera to take good photos for my blog and to capture special moments in my life.
8. T-shirt from Yarn mamas. "just one more row"
This T-shirt is perfect for the knitter or crocheter because that is what we often say to ourselves when we are happily knitting or crocheting and have to put it down to go do something. It often isn't just one more row though...
9. Popsockets phone stand: So many people have these on their phones now and I am late to jump on the bandwagon. They look like it would make holding your phone easier and can even help to stand up for phone or tablet while watching videos.
10. Cozy blanket: We have a blanket from Indigo we got years ago and now it is time for a replacement or to add another one to our couch. I always like to have a blanket over my legs while watching TV or movies in the winter it just makes it so much cozier and comfortable.
11. Felt board from Indigo
This felt board is so cute to put up messages and quotes throughout the year for holidays and just to inspire yourself and others. I would love to put up my favorite quote to see it everyday or a holiday message.
12. Becoming by Michelle Obama
Michelle Obama wrote an autobiography and I think it would be so interesting to read. I always found her speeches to be so powerful and inspirational.
13. Knitting supplies: I would love to receive new stitch markers, needles, yarn, anything that would help me in my knitting.
14. Puzzles: I love puzzles and each Christmas I have been receiving them as gifts and working on them after the holidays. I find making puzzles so relaxing and enjoy putting them together and letting my thoughts flow as I look for pieces.
15. Punch needle set
I have seen these popping up around Instagram and like knitting or cross stitching, this looks like it would be so much fun to make. Also they would make lovely wall hangings for your home.
