Hello Friends,
I hope you are doing well. This weekend I went with Liam and his friends to a cottage for a couple of days. They found a cottage in Gravenhurst, which is a town in the Muskoka Region of Ontario, Canada. It was very spacious and cozy, and it was such a perfect spot for us to hang out for the weekend. There were so many different pieces of art and things to discover in the cottage. In our room for example, there were three different wooden bird houses on the wall and some burlap sack pieces hanging up. In some other rooms there was a secret hiding place made with wood and a loft area to sleep in that you can climb up into. I really like the creativity that was put into the decor of the cottage.
In the living room there were pieces of wooden planks nailed to the wall. Past guests of the cottage had written many messages on the pieces over the years. I forgot to take a photo of it, but I wrote Lisa heart Liam in red. Many of our friends also wrote messages on the wooden pieces.
I read Girl, Wash Your Face by Rachel Hollis while at the cottage on our second day there. We had a lot of time to relax and do what we wanted. I read, worked on a puzzle, played pool, played darts, and air hockey. I also had a nice long nap too.
The view of the frozen lake with the blue skies from the back windows and door was beautiful and so picturesque.
In the evenings, We spent a lot of time hanging out inside by the fireplace, eating, drinking, and playing games. I had a good time hanging out there with friends. It was especially nice at Christmas and there was a Christmas tree lit up in the corner of the living room area of the cottage.
I loved having the fire lit at all times too it added so much warmth and I loved watching the fire dancing around and sparking when more wood was added to it.

The evening views were equally lovely to look at.
