Hello Friends,
I hope you are doing well. Welcome to day one of Blogmas! It's that special time of the year once more where bloggers come together and blog daily for Blogmas leading up to Christmas day. I am happy to be sharing all the activities and preparations leading up to Christmas with you all again this year. I have been visiting some other blogs as well that will be posting for Blogmas this year, and I am looking forward to reading their posts as well.I put together a list of topics I will cover for this year. I have some of my favourites along with some new topics that I can't wait to write on. I will be sharing recipes, knitting projects, DIY decor ideas, gift guides, and more. Here are my plans for Blogmas this year:
I am knitting a Santa hat for my baby nephew. I am really loving this Baby Santa Hat pattern by Christina Toppen found on Ravelry. It has been so fun to knit and I can knit while watching shows and vlogs which is so relaxing. I am just coming to the end of knitting the middle of the hat, then I will start decreasing in a couple of rows. I am so excited to see my baby nephew wearing it and looking all festive for Christmas.
We put up our Christmas tree this past weekend on Saturday night and it was so fun to see our kitten Millie's reaction to the tree. She was biting the branches and the lights and playing with the ornaments at the bottom of the tree, then she was lying down underneath it and looking up. On Sunday, we put more ornaments onto the tree and just the non breakable ones to see how Millie does with those first. It is always so special to see the tree up and feels like Christmas is finally here.
I am continuing to read The Bookshop of Yesterdays By Amy Meyerson and The Santa Suit by Mary Kay Andrews. Both books are really nice to read and I am enjoying them. I am liking the Santa Suit so far and it is so fun to read holiday books leading up to Christmas.
Joining along with As Kat Knits for Unraveled Wednesday.
Thank you for visiting my blog today and I hope that you enjoy the posts I write for Blogmas this year! I hope you join me daily leading up to Christmas to see all the posts I share. I always feel like posting for Blogmas makes me enjoy Christmas even more. I will be visiting lots of other blogs today and can't wait to read your posts too!
Have a great day!
What a rascally kitten! lol

Deletehaha thank you Dee! yes she is :)
ReplyDeleteYou are so much braver than me. I will not try to put up a tree this year. I have 2 very rambunctious kittens, 7 months and just don’t trust them. Your tree looks pretty and looks like you are having luck. 🤞🏻
