Finished Knitting Baby Santa Hat, Starting Kitten Stocking - Blogmas Day 15

Hello Friends,

I hope you are doing well. It has been a busy week and it is starting to feel like it is getting so close to Christmas. I can't believe it is next week. I still have some gifts to get and some gifts to make. I want to also work on getting our home ready for the holidays. I am excited for Christmas and looking forward to the day when everything is done and we can relax and enjoy it.

I finished knitting the baby Santa hat last week and I gifted it to my sister for my nephew. We put it on Luca and he looks so adorable in the hat. Here he is in the photo below with the hat on from last weekend sitting by the tree. He seemed comfortable in it and kept it on. The size from the pattern was great for him and he is 7 months old. There is room to grow as well, so he would be able to also wear it in coming years as it has stretch to it.

Pattern: Baby Santa Hat by Christina Toppen on Ravelry
Needles: US 8 5 mm circular needles
Yarn:   Canadiana in the colorways white and cardinal acrylic worsted weight yarn
Ravelry Notes: needlesandwool

I started knitting Millie's Christmas stocking. I am using the pattern Classic Christmas Stocking by Betty Lai found on Ravelry. I have her stocking stuffers ready to go and then once I am done knitting her stocking can put them all inside and be ready for Christmas. I have two stockings knitted up for us, and hers will be matching ours but smaller.

I am still reading The Santa Suit by Mary Kay Andrews. I have been spending so much time on knitting and getting other things done that I haven't been reading as much. So I will definitely be reading leading up to Christmas because I want to finish this one for Christmas.

I had to share my bookmark I got through Amazon I think last year. It is so cute.

I took this photo this morning of Millie relaxing on the couch by the Christmas tree.
