Hello Friends,
I hope you are doing well. It has been such a busy time of the year. Work is busy and also trying to get our house settled. We mostly work on unpacking and cleaning on the weekends, and then during the week lately, I am tired after work. I have been enjoying posting for Blogmas and look forward to sharing these posts with you. I am enjoying visiting other people's blogs who are also celebrating with Blogmas. I am happy to see so many bloggers participating this year it is so much fun to go see what others come up with for their topics and how they are celebrating this Christmas.
I have been knitting Liam's scarf and using the Men's Rib Ridge scarf pattern by Purl Avenue. I am excited that it is almost done. I will work hard towards getting it done in time for Christmas. I haven't worked on the at for so long because the circular needle broke and I will need to buy a new one to continue knitting it.
I have been reading Atomic Habits by James Clear. I am really enjoying the book and I find it so interesting. We can really use what we know about habits to help motivate ourselves towards creating our best lives. He suggests making a list of habits and marking whether it is good or bad and it was an eye opener. I now know some things I am working towards changing. I look forward to reading more to make better choices.
I am also reading The 13th Gift by Joanne Huist Smith which I got on Overdrive from the library and also Beach Read by Emily Henry from Overdrive. I started this book in the Summer. It is good so far.
