Saturday Stitch: Check Stitch

I hope you are doing well. Today I tried out the check stitch from the book 750 Knitting Stitches by Erika Knight. I liked this simple 8 row repeat pattern. It was relaxing to knit this one up today. I like the outcome and it would add nice texture to projects.

Pattern:

Multiples of 4 + 2

• Row 1: K2, *p2, k2; rep from * to end.
• Row 2: P2, * k2, p2; rep from * to end.
• Row 3: K2, *p2, k2; rep from * to end.
• Row 4: P2, * k2, p2; rep from * to end.
• Row 5: P2, * k2, p2; rep from * to end.
• Row 6: K2, *p2, k2; rep from * to end.
• Row 7: P2, * k2, p2; rep from * to end.
• Row 8: K2, *p2, k2; rep from * to end.
Repeat rows 1-8 until you have reached your desired length.
