Hello Friends,
I hope you are doing well. Happy Canada to my fellow Canadians! I had to work today and it was pretty busy. I realized today is a new month of July and I have new project and a book I am reading to share. I love fresh starts and it feels like one at the beginning of the month and it also half way through the year, so for many people it is a chance to revisit New Year resolutions. I have kept working on my resolutions, but some I am not where I would like to be. I still have time. I have one that I have met and am excited to share it with you soon in an update.

I knitted a bookmark using the lace rib panel stitch using the pink yarn. I got this yarn quite awhile ago so I don't remember the brand. I used the circular needles size US 3, 3.25 mm. The bookmark is 6 stitches of stockinette stitch on each side of the 7 stitch repeat of the 4 row repeat for the pattern. For the strand and tassel part of the bookmark, I knitted an i-cord and then at the end I had cut several short pieces of yarn to make the tassels at the end. I like this part of the bookmark, because it makes it easier to find your place in the book when you can see the tassel sticking out.
This week I am going to start reading Everything is F*cked: A Book about Hope by Mark Manson. I got this book from my mom for Christmas and I am excited to finally read it. I hope that it is entertaining and also makes me think about issues in the world and ways we can improve things. We need a lot of that right now.
Joining along with Frontier Dreams for Crafting On , As Kat Knits for Unraveled Wednesday, and With Ginny over at Small Things for her monthly Yarn Along.
Thank you for visiting my blog today!
That is a pretty pattern! Look forward to hearing what the book is like.
