Hello Friends,
I hope you are all doing well. This morning I finally finished the back piece of the Wool and the Gang Farrah Billie Jean top. I am happy that now I can start sewing up the shoulders and sides of the top and the tank top will be done.
I had made more progress on the decadent socks, but sadly had to frog some of it because I was ending up with areas of loose stitches and holes and realized I needed to take it apart and start that section over.
I purchased some more Patons Kroy Socks yarn in the color gray to begin knitting some fingerless mittens for Winter. I don't really want to think of colder weather right now, but I am going to be knitting some of these up now so they are ready and they are also fun to knit.I have knitted a couple pairs using Manos Uruguay yarn last winter.

I am currently reading Introvert Power by Laurie A Helgoe. I am really enjoying this book. I am also going to be reading Uncommon Type by Tom Hanks. I purchased the book Surprise Me by Sophie Kinsella and I am so excited to read it soon, the description sounds so interesting and fascinating.
Hope you enjoy your Sunday evening and thank you for stopping by!
Have a great day
Now you are getting to the exciting part of the sweater. I love it when the sweater starts to really look like a garment.
ReplyDeleteI haven't made any socks in more than 10 years. When I first started knitting I did about a year of nothing but socks. My sock draw is full!! Hand made wool socks wear like iron! Those look like they will be warm.
