Hello Friends,
I hope you are all doing well. It is a rainy day here in Toronto and it is so dark in the room as I type this. I like these dark days sometimes, it feels cozier, but it also makes me a little sleepy and I just feel like relaxing instead of being productive. But I am usually motivated to write my blog entries, I love to share what I am working on with all of you!
I finished knitting the first sock yesterday. I am using Bernat Sox yarn with size US 2 (2.75 mm) double-pointed knitting needles. I am using the Bernat Basic Socks pattern which was provided on the Bernat Sox label when I purchased the yarn. I am enjoying knitting with this yarn, it is so soft and light. The sock is very comfortable and soft when I put it on. I cast on the second sock yesterday, and I have been knitting the second sock today. I have not made new progress in the way of my sweater, but I will be picking that up again sometime this week. I will also be cozying up today and reading The Nest by Cynthia D'aprix Sweeney and The little Book of Hygge by Meik Wiking.

Thank you Anna! I agree!
DeleteYour socks are coming along very nicely. How are you enjoying the Little Book of Hygge?
ReplyDeleteIn response to a comment you made on my blog: It's not that I don't like candy. I am an insulin-dependent diabetic so I rarely eat candy. I didn't buy any Easter candy because ---- well, I just don't need the temptation of it hanging around. LOL I would ♥ to eat all the Peeps, but I know I wouldn't feel very good after that, no matter how good an idea it seemed at the time.
Every once in awhile I let myself have a VERY indulgent treat, but it is usually cake or something from the corner bakery. I want to make sure those calories are REALLY worth it. :::wink:::
Thank you Dee! I am enjoying it but I have been slow with reading it I picked it up again this weekend and the part I was reading was more factual and statistics about Danes and the word Hygge, I am looking forward to reading more about how to incorporate more Hygge into your life. I am sorry if I gave you the impression that I thought you did not like candy, I understand that it is so much sugar and it is not good for you. I got too much chocolate this Easter and I have noticed it is not great for me, it makes me feel bloated and my stomach sometimes hurts. Thank you for taking the time to visit and comment!!
