Little Shell Pattern - Stitchy Saturday

Hello Friends,

I hope you are doing well. I knitted up a swatch of the little shell pattern. I found the pattern in the book 750 Knitting Stitches  - The Ultimate Knit Stitch Bible by Erika Knight I love flipping through this book each week to see what stitch to try out. This week I chose the little shell pattern on page 148. I really love how this one turned out and it is such a pretty and delicate pattern. I love how the shells turned out and I think this would be a great pattern to use while knitting tops and covers for the Summer adding the shell detail would be really pretty.

Pattern:

Multiples of 7 +2

Row 1: Knit
Row 2: Purl
Row 3: K2, *yo,p1,p3tog,p1,yo, k2. Rep from *to end.
Row 4: Purl
Rep these 4 rows.

Pattern from: 750 Knitting Stitches  - The Ultimate Knit Stitch Bible. by Erika Knight.

I hope you enjoyed this stitch! It was fun to knit and perfect for Summer months. A lighter yarn will make this stitch pattern flowy and more delicate for lighter garments.

Have a great day!
