Knitting Happy Mail

 Hello Friends,

I hope you are doing well. This weekend was mostly spent relaxing and getting groceries. Not too much out of the ordinary. I was doing a lot of studying for my LOMA exams and working on finishing it this week to get my ALMI designation. This is consuming a lot of my focus and time right now. I was also happy to receive the cute knitting items I ordered off of Etsy this weekend from SaltWaterKnittingNL. The packaging was cute when I opened the envelope.

I had ordered these cactus stitch markers and the needle huggers. I found them when I was putting together a recent Friday Favourites post and had to get them.

These cactus stitch markers are so cute and I love how fun and colorful they are for the Spring. It is fun to get different stitch markers to try out for different seasons of the year.

These needle huggers are a great idea. So many times I put my project in my knitting bag or to the side, then I come back to it to find some stitches have come off of the needles. These huggers prevent that from happening.

I love how the stitch marker and the needle hugger look on the project. I like how the needle hugger is so snug to the needle and doesn't slide off. Also it works to keep the stitch marker from sliding off of my needles.

Thank you for visiting my blog today. I hope that you also had a good weekend and have a great week ahead.

Happy Mail, Knitting, and Reading On

Hello Friends,

I hope you are doing well. I received this adorable knit pin in the mail today from Sea + Lake Paper Co. I had seen it in an Instagram post and had to have it so I ordered it last week. I love the detail on the pin. I love the hand with the knit tattoo on the fingers and then the hank of yarn on the wrist. I like the needle pointing up at the Fringe Supply Co label.

I was also happy to receive the Manos Del Uruguay yarn in the mail today from Wool Tyme. This yarn is in the colorway Happy and I am so happy I got it in the mail! Now I can begin knitting some more fingerless mittens for a customer. It was fun receiving all this happy mail today.

I haven't gotten too far on my Wool and the Gang Farrah Billie Jean top because I had to keep frogging it. I think the tension was loose at one point when I joined another ball of yarn, but I will try to tie a knot this time around and see if it makes a difference and helps it stay tight.

I am still reading Wild by Cheryl Strayed and really enjoying it. I am such a slow reader lately, sorry for the repetition. I hope to be starting a new book next week!

Thank you for visiting my blog today! What are you working on and reading this week? I hope that you will come back soon!

Have a great day!
