Christmas Stocking Progress and Five Knitted Christmas Ornament Ideas

Hello friends,

I hope you are doing well. I have been working on some school assignments and knitting more of the stocking. Yesterday I went to see A Bad Mom's Christmas, it was so funny. I loved it and it got me more in the Christmas spirit. It was also a good reminder not to get too busy at Christmas and expect things to go  perfectly and to just enjoy time with family and loved ones.

Today I worked on knitting more of the stocking and have knitted some more stripes. I am looking forward to having the two stockings finished for Christmas this year. I have made some progress and want to finish the stocking soon so I can hang them both up when I decorate for Christmas.

Progress on the stocking

In the past couple of years I have really enjoyed knitting Christmas ornaments for the Christmas tree. I knitted a Santa hat and a mini stocking so far. I knitted a bunch of the mini stockings as gifts last year. I knitted them for my mom, sister and a few friends. I put a lip balm inside with some chocolates and a candy cane. I am thinking of doing something similar this year as well to attach onto gifts with the gift tags.

I hope that you liked the ornaments and found some ideas of some winter and Christmas related ornaments to knit for this year. I know I will be knitting some of these. I have so much fun knitting little ornaments and then seeing them hanging on the tree brings me a lot of joy.

I have been reading Not Working by Lisa Owens and find the character so funny and relatable. I am looking forward to seeing what she does next and how her job searching journey goes.
