Knitting and Reading Updates

 Hello Friends,

I hope you are doing well.  We are still working on unpacking and settling in at our new home. It is such a nice change from the basement apartment we lived in to moving to a bright and fresh townhome. It was a good time to move as well to prepare for a Winter of staying mostly inside because of Covid... more time to tackle projects at home and settle in. 

This week I knitted more of the men's rib ridge scarf pattern by Purl Avenue. I am happy it is almost finished, and will be ready to give as a Christmas gift to Liam.

I haven't been knitting the Amelia Beanie pattern by Elisa McLaughlin, but I will be picking up the needles soon to make some more progress in finishing it. It will be so nice and warm to wear in the winter.

I have been reading Atomic Habits by James Clear it is so good so far and I look forward to reading on and getting more tips. I haven't started Beach Read as I mentioned on Sunday, I will be getting the hold back soon.

How are you? I hope that you enjoy Thanksgiving tomorrow if you live in the United States. It is so nice that it is Holiday season now. I look forward to Christmas this year even though I know it will look so different. I hope that we can still celebrate and be with loved ones even if they are farther away.
