Knitting my first sock: Setting up my sock!

Hello friends,

I just got back from my family camping trip! It was great and we all had such a wonderful time together.  It was with my parents, my sister and her boyfriend, and my boyfriend.  I really enjoyed all being together and getting into different conversations during the three days.  I think it brought us all closer together too and it was such a relaxing time getting away from work and other responsibilities for a few days.

Our campfire the second night

Sun setting the second night such a beautiful sky

In knitting news I am still working away on the sock! I just finished turning the heel and have all my work set up on the needles to start knitting the foot of the sock and then to start shaping the toes.

Thank you for stopping by ! hope to see you again soon :)

Take care,
Lisa :)

  6. Super that you had such a wonderful time, Lisa, great pics! Your sock looks very good already, nice color as well :-). I never tried this method up to now (I knit them with dpns), but I can imagine that the circular needles are a good way to start knitting socks! You surely will be very proud when you have finished and can wear your first own pair of socks :D
    Sunny greetings, Nata
