Hello Friends,
I hope you are doing well. I finished knitting my second Merry Fair Isle ornament last night. They are really fun and quite quick to knit up. I have a lot of red and white yarn left and will be starting to knit a third ornament soon. The pattern I am using is from Patons on the Yarnspirations website. I orginally found these patterns on Ravelry. I love how there are 5 different charts of patterns for these ornaments, so you can knit up a collection of them for Christmas to hang up on your tree.
Notes about project:
Pattern: Patons Merry Fair Isle Knit Ornament
Yarn I used: Loops & Threads Joy DK
Needles I used: Takumi Double pointed needles size US 3, 3.25 mm.I hope you are doing well. I finished knitting my second Merry Fair Isle ornament last night. I finished reading Good Morning, Good Life by Amy Schmittauer Landino yesterday. I really enjoyed reading her book. I was gifted it from my sister for Christmas. My sister also has a morning routine and wakes up at 5 am to get things done. I learned a lot from the book and want to watch some of her YouTube videos to learn more about how she does calendar blocking. Now I will pick up Big Magic again by Elizabeth Gilbert. I started reading it last month and then decided to focus on the two I was already reading. My friend has said it is a good book so I am looking forward to reading it. I am still reading The Testaments by Margaret Atwood. I am still really enjoying this book and find it so interesting and want to keep reading on to see what happens next.

Thank you for visiting my blog. It has been a challenging time for all of us and I am hoping that soon we have more positive news. I feel like we are heading towards flattening the curve and hoping to kick this virus to the curb soon so we can continue on with our normal lives. With the weather getting nice and warm outside it is making me want to get back to normal life and enjoy the Summer like we always do. We can only hope at this point.
Have a great day!
I'm sure you are closer to being at the end of the shutdown. We have had our numbers dropped and I'm hoping for a bit of freedom in the next few weeks. Fingers crossed. Love your ornament.
