Hello Friends,
I hope you are doing well. Today is another beautiful Saturday, and so far I have been knitting this lovely stitch I found today while looking on Instagram (which has lots of ideas for knitting stitches at #knittingstitches). It is so helpful to look on Instagram, because usually you find some swatches of stitches other knitters have tried out. I found the Traveling Vine stitch on Instagram today and loved this stitch knitted in green yarn, it looks beautiful. Unfortunately I don't own any green yarn, I will have to go out and get some to knit a scarf in this stitch that would look so nice. For now I have knitted this stitch pattern in red yarn which looks pretty too. I hope you want to give this one a try, it is a little tricky in some rows when you have to SSP (slip, slip, purl) but I got the hang of it after awhile and it helped to watch Knitting Stitch Patterns' video tutorial. Hope you enjoy this stitch pattern!

What I thought:
I loved this stitch, it was a learning experience for me because I learned how to SSP( slip, slip, purl) and it became easier after awhile. I love how this stitch pattern looks and I just love lace patterns now because they look so beautiful and have curved sides and bottom and look very feminine. When I saw this stitch on Instagram I fell in love with it knitted in green and thought this would be a lovely scarf. I love plants so this stitch pattern appealed to me even more because of the travelling vine makes me think of a vine plant that never ends.
Knitter level:
Intermediate: I would say this one is a little more on the challenging side and there are lots of rows with not very many repeats. The SSP method was a little fiddly at times and it might be a bit challenging. I enjoyed this pattern because it gave me more of a challenge.
Thank you so much for visiting my blog, it is always nice to read your comments and get your feedback. Have you knitting this stitch pattern before? if so, what did you knit with the pattern?
Have a great day!
