Hello friends,
I have just started knitting a light cowl for the
spring. I am using the eyelet moss stitch pattern that I found on the Knitting Galore blog. There are tons of great stitches on this blog
it is like a stitch dictionary. This stitch
stood out to me because it looked like it would be light and airy for spring’s
warmer temperatures.

I hope you are all are having a great Friday and have a good weekend!
Take care,
Lisa
Hi Lisa, thanks for the link to Knitting Galore, I love the colour you've chosen for your cowl, it's lovely and vibrant. The stitch is looking good, it will be perfect for spring.
ReplyDeleteKeep going on your blanket ... a bit here ... a bit there and it all adds up :-)
Thank you Linda! I like the bright blue myself. I decided on a brighter color to welcome spring because this past winter I have been knitting mostly in black and grays.
DeleteHave a great day!

The spring cowl is going to be great! It shouldn't take too long to finish up with the larger needles. Nice progress on your baby blanket. I'll have to check out the link as I love looking at new stitches. I just picked up a book at the thrift store that has over 100 stitch patterns in it! The photos are B&W, but fairly clear. Have a great weekend Lisa! Wendy x
ReplyDeleteThank you Wendy! yeah the larger needles will make it go faster! I should be finishing it up soon :) that sounds like a great book! I love learning about new stitches too and its fun to see how lovely they turn out :) some are so pretty and look like flowers or leaves or stars. have a great day!

Thanks for your comment Lisa. I just had to pop in to visit. The baby blanket is going to be dreamy and the cowl is looking good. I always have a few projects going at once, just not disciplined enough I guess :)
