Knitting and Storing

Hello friends,

How is everyone? I hope you are having a great week so far.  I have been having a pretty good week.  I've started some online courses and I am enjoying them, I am knitting, working, and just spent some time with my amazing boyfriend tonight so I am feeling rather content right now.
I wanted to do a quick post update about my progress so far on the green scarf.  Slowly but surely I have been knitting some more of it.  I am hoping to knit more this week to complete it soon to give it to my friend. Below are a couple photos of the scarf so far, I still have a long way to go!

Also I just wanted to show you how I've been organizing my works in progress lately.  I bought these three bins from Walmart for $8 the other day and they are amazing for organizing and separating various projects on the go.  I've never had something set up like this before where my projects are both visible and accessible when I have more than one on the go.

Have a great night!
Take care,
Lisa

  1. I like your storage idea. My sister has lots of spare desk in-trays. Now I know what they can be used for!

  5. The scarf is coming along nicely! Your storage bins are a great idea. I've organized my WIPs into little cardboard boxes I found at the dollar store. It was all getting crazy in one big heap ... separating the projects into separate boxes has worked great ;) Wendy x

    1. Thank you Wendy, boxes would be great too! It's nice to think of different ways to store knitting projects I think I might look into different ways I can store them. It seems that it does make a big difference when they are stored nicely. Have a great weekend!

  8. Your scarves look so cosy. I have managed to finish my Elise Shawl which is a bit more lacey, take a look - it is a fab pattern. Jo x

    1. Thank you Jo! I like to make my scarves cozy to keep warm in the cold winters and just feels nice to have a heavier chunky scarf around you. It feels like wearing a blanket. Okay I'd love to take a look at your shawl! thanks for visiting my blog :)
