Nights of Lights - Blogmas Day 13

 Hello Friends,

I hope you are doing well. Last night I went to Nights of Lights in Vaughan. It was a walk thru this year instead of the drive thru they had last year. There was also a market and food trucks at the end this year and they called it Nights of Lights & Holiday Fair in the Square. It was so fun seeing the different lights and displays they had this year. I like how they are so creative and adding different things this year and places to walk through and take photos. There was Christmas music playing the whole walk thru as well. It was a fun date night for Liam and I.

There was a giant tree set up around the market area and the food trucks. It was so tall and pretty.

We got pizza for dinner from the food truck below, it was pretty tasty. There were also food trucks with Beaver Tails, Tiny Toms donuts, and a lot of other tasty things. We decided not to get too much last night. I was impressed they had so much and also some rides for kids.

We wandered around the market stalls and didn't see too much that interested us. But I did stop by a stall called Uptown Sox. They were selling a variety of fun socks in boxes that were like cards. I haven't seen this before and thought it was pretty cool and would make a good gift idea. I bought one as a gift for a friend, and I had to buy some Christmas ones for myself. The ones I decided on were these socks of Santa doing yoga and it is written "I do this for the milk and cookies". Too cute.

Thank you for visiting my blog today for my annual visit to Nights of Lights! It is a fun little tradition that Liam and I started last year during the pandemic to go out and enjoy the lights and go to a safe event during this time. People mostly stayed distanced and it being outside, felt more safe. I was also wearing my mask most of the time. Nights of Lights is going on until January if interested, but tickets sell out fast and we bought in November they were mostly sold out of the earlier time slots for 5 pm. I hope to see you again tomorrow for blogmas day 14. I will be sharing another ornament I have knitted.

Have a great day!

Blogmas Day 14 - Nights of Lights

 Hello Friends,

I hope you are doing well. Last night, I went with Liam to see a Christmas light display called Nights of Lights at Revel Park in Vaughn, Ontario. It was so amazing. I really enjoyed seeing all the different displays they put together! I think they put a lot of effort into the lights, and I enjoyed the music on radio syncing up with the lights. I will post a video of the Christmas tree light synching up with the music on Instagram today. Liam and I were rocking out to some Christmas music at one point when the trees were also flashing to the music, it was fun. Liam was my photographer for the evening, and he was snapping photos constantly. He did such a good job with all of the photos he took. Sometimes you can see the photos were blurry because of the car lights in front. We had to have the windows down during the drive, so the photos were taken through the window. I hope you enjoy looking at the photos and I highly recommend checking out this show next Christmas you are in Vaughn.

We even saw Santa and rolled down the window to wave to say hello and Merry Christmas. He stayed seated and waved at cars passing by.

I loved the light display of Santa's reindeer and sleigh.

Thank you for visiting my blog today for Blogmas 14! I hope you enjoyed the photos of the lights from the Nights of Lights display. It was a fun and safe activity to do during Covid and they scanned our ticket through the window. It was nice to have a little date night and do this. I definitely would love to go again next year! Please let me know what displays you have been to, I would love to go see some more. it was a lot of fun!
