Christmas is coming.... :)

Hello!

I did the counting down and it is 50 days away from CHRISTMAS! I love christmas time, it is one of my most cherished times of the year. I love the displays, the holiday drinks at Starbucks, the tree lights, the cheerfulness of the holiday, the happiness children feel when writing their lists. Best time of the year :)

I put together a collage with use of photos from weheartit.com to celebrate the coming of this wonderful holiday!

Buddah Pears

Good morning everyone!

I just found something interesting in the newspaper this morning. People are growing Buddah shaped pears! a man named Hai Xianzhang in Hebei Province grew pears in moulds of Buddah and they turned out pretty good I must say! It apparently took 6 years of mastering the praying Buddah. They are selling $8 a piece? nice profit. Here's a picture:

Today's Happenings ♥

Hey bloggers!

T
oday I went shopping, one of my favorite things to do :P I bought a cute gray scarf, a gold necklace with purple gem, and a black belt, all from Costa Blanca.
I topped it off with a delicious pumpkin spice frappuccino, sooo good I recommend everyone try these ! also the banana chocolate smoothie <3<3
This morning I worked more on the mini flower knitting project. I have been knitting for 20 minutes now as I have been thinking of things to add to my blog. I cannot wait to post the final product when its all knitted and complete! so far there are 4 petals, just need maybe one or two more and its done then i need to tie them together and sew the remaining wool to hide it.

I finished reading Lock and key by Sarah Dessen last night! It is a really good book. She is one of my all time favorite authors I've been reading her books for a long time. She also has a new one that I saw today at the mall in Coles, called Along for the ride. This one sounds like a cute book to read as well. I have a couple i'll need to read before that because I went out and bought some books a week ago. Some other authors I love are, Ceilia Ahern, Sophie Kinsella, Nicolas Sparks, Stephenie Meyer, and Jude Deveraux. They are mostly under the categories of realistic, romance, young adult.

I'm going to finish knitting the flower now, then will look at your blogs and get updated! thanks for reading!

Summer Photography

Hey!
Today I went to the dentist... found out I have a cavity. I had just recently gotten my braces off so maybe I didn't floss the way I should have. I will have to take care of things in there better I suppose!

Here is a collection of some photos I took during the summer. I love photography and really enjoy taking photos from different angles and viewpoints.

Funny change room

I was shopping one day at a Bootlegger store and this was in the change room. I loved it so much I HAD to take a picture of it! I did end up buying the black sweater and pink shirt, but the green one... no, but the no hook was gone.. probably on purpose so you have to buy everything!

RIP men and women of the twin tower attacks

It is now 1:30 am and September 11th, I'd like to mourn the loss of many men and women lost to the terrorist attacks on September 11th, 2001. It was tragic and such a loss for the families and friends of victims of 9/11. I am grateful that it did not affect me but so many people's lives were affected and it is so horrible to have that pain and sorrow in your heart of losing someone because of these horrible, careless acts. I hope all of us remember this and take some time out of our busy days and think about the families and friends who have lost so much.
RIP.
