I hope you are doing well. This week has been going well at work and going by quickly. I am knitting more of the Rock Cap by Veronica Wilson. I am now knitting the body of the hat in the moss stitch. I am happy with how it is taking shape.
I am finished reading Expecting Better by Emily Oster. It was an interesting book and provided a lot of information on pregnancy. She provides information regarding myths and also the facts about things that help or cause problems during pregnancy. I am continuing to read Malibu Rising by Taylor Jenkins Reid. It is a great story so far as I read on.
Joining along with As Kat Knits for Unraveled Wednesday.
Thank you for visiting my blog today and I hope that you are having a good week so far.
The hat looks good so far!
ReplyDeleteYour hat is coming along nicely. It's interesting your discussion about pre-pregnancy, a friend of mine who does foster care, attends many courses for her career. Her last one was about (FAS) Fetal Alcohol Syndrome. When I was pregnant with my first, the midwife in the UK said - 1 glass of wine once a week is fine. When I was pregnant with the second, the midwife was shocked and angry that I'd had any at all. No, definitely not she said. There is less than 2.5 yrs between them. As the damage to the brain is in the first few months, I think no alcohol whilst trying to conceive is the current UK guidelines. All the best Cx
ReplyDeletebeautiful knitting and that hat will be done before you know it!
