Hello Friends,
I hope you are doing well. It is Wednesday and we are halfway through the week now. It has been a busy week so far, but its been good. I am continuing to knit the Rock Cap by Veronica Wilson. I knitted the rim of the hat so far. It looks narrow, but hoping it fits comfortably when I am done. I did add more stitches than the amount called for since it was looking really small with the 80 stitches required. Next I will be switching to slightly larger needles to knit up the rest of the hat.
I am still reading Expecting Better by Emily Oster and almost done. I have picked up Malibu Rising by Taylor Jenkins Reid a few times, but I will be able to devote more time to reading it soon once finished Expecting Better.
Joining along with As Kat Knits for Unraveled Wednesday.
Thank you for visiting my blog today! I hope you are having a good week.
Hi Lisa, I enjoyed catching up with your blog today. I've recently started blogging again too after a few years break. Congratulations on your wedding, Wow I've missed so much here in Blogland. All the best for your future together. So many people have stopped blogging and favoured Instagram, though I'm still there, I'm checking in there less frequently. There's something good about blog's I think, quality time as opposed to quantity of followers I guess. I always enjoyed your Saturday Stitches posts. Take care, Cathy x
ReplyDeleteHi Cathy, thank you for visiting my blog today and reading through my old posts. Thank you for your well wishes. I hope you are doing well too. I will check out your blog. I agree that Instagram is more popular now and people choose over blogging. I am not going on IG as much either. I also like reading through blogs and writing my blog more than posting on IG. I agree I feel like I get to know people more through blogs than IG. Glad you enjoyed the stitches posts! I stopped doing those but I might think of bringing them back again eventually even if just once a month. Take care!
DeleteI love having a hat on the needles, easy to transport around and easy to pick up and put down, yours is lovely!
