Friday Favorites!

Hello friends,

How is everyone doing? I have been really busy at school with assignments and studying for tests and quizzes.
I decided to start doing a Friday Favorite's post on Fridays where I post my favorite knitting and crochet ideas and projects I have discovered during the week.  This week my posts are very fall centered since that is my interest right now because of the changing season :) I hope you all enjoy!

1.  This crochet hanging bag is so cute for children's toys! Find the pattern at Annie’se pattern central.

Fall Knitting Projects To Keep Us Warm

Hello friends,

Now that fall is soon approaching I decided to do a post on some knitting ideas. I can feel that cold chill in the air and I am already wearing boots and jackets to keep warm. Do you have any ideas for Christmas gifts yet? I cannot believe it is almost Christmas in a few months.  For knitters this time comes up really fast! I had plans to knit up some socks for family and still have to come up with something special for my boyfriend.  I feel like I just knitted my boyfriend his hat last year and the infinity scarf for my cousin.  The year goes by so fast!  Some things that are inspiring me right now in the knitting world are...

1. I love this cute little pumpkin found over at The Sitting Tree! check it out, free pattern download.

2. These cute hats with triangle patterns by Very Shannon

3.  I really like this slouchy hat found on Craftsy.

 4. These cozy scarves! I love the pattern of the orange one.

5. I am loving this chunky hooded cowl in these beautiful fall colors.

Second sock underway!

Hello friends,

Sorry I haven't written in awhile I have been working a lot and also getting ready to go to University! I am looking forward to this new adventure and I went to an orientation yesterday where I had the chance to meet some other people in the program and meet some of the faculty.
I worked a bit on knitting the second sock this morning and made a lot of progress!  I am looking forward to being done the second sock and I can wear them around the house.  I want to also get started on knitting up some socks for my family for Christmas (with longer cuffs of course!).  Below is a photo of my progress on the second sock.

I hope you all have a good day and thank you for visiting!

Take care,
Lisa :)
