Hello!

Since it is almost Halloween I thought I would share some Halloween themed favorites with you tonight.  They are all DIY's that look very easy to do to decorate your home for the Halloween holiday.  I found all of the pictures on Pinterest. I hope you enjoy and I just might try some of these out!

Gray and white hat completed and mittens soon to match ;)

Hello friends,

It has been a chilly weekend and it is definitely feeling like fall is in the air now!  I always  feel excited to feel that cold air because it means that it is time to pull out the hats, mittens, and scarves you've knitted up for yourself and that others have knitted you.  I am speaking completely bias right now that everyone should own a handmade hat, mittens, and scarf... well i think everyone should! there is something about wearing something that you have knitted or someone you know has knitted.  It makes you feel like you are getting a hug every time you put it on.  You think "Wow someone knitted this for me, they care about me being warm".  Well I hope that everyone I have knitted for has this feeling when they wear something I've knitted them because that would be pretty special.
Just this past Friday I completed a hat made from "thick and quick" Lion Brand wool. I am kind of obsessed with this yarn, it's so soft and really is "quick" to knit. I love the colors together :)  the wool was already solid gray then would switch to a gray and white stripe so I can't really take the credit for switching yarns ;)  I am going to start knitting mittens today that match the hat,  I still haven't knitted a set and would love to have a matching hat and mittens set that I have knitted up :)
So here are a few pictures of the finished project! I will also be posting to Pinterest I am going to be keeping it updated if you also want to check that out and see some things I've knitted up or some ideas and other interests of mine.  I spent some of the morning updating Pinterest.  I think it's really addicting once you start pinning and liking photos there are so many great ideas out there!
