Cozy up with a book

Hello :)




I am currently knitting a blue and red striped scarf for my boyfriend, which when I began knitting it realised are the superman colors. He is my superman :) I am so excited to finish it and give it to him. ( I'll post a picture soon of my work in progress)

I just finished A Life in Stitches by Rachael Herron last weekend. It was very good and inspired me to knit more and one day knit a sweater. Rachael wrote about her own growth as a knitter and what she knitted at important times in her life. She knitted a sweater when she was 11!! I have a lot of catching up to do.


It is interesting when she talks of the "boyfriend sweater". If you knit a sweater for a boyfriend or even start the relationship will be doomed. It was comedic but at the same time made me worry about my striped scarf but hopefully there is no correlation between scarves and breakups. Have any of you knitted a sweater for your boyfriend even when you heard this speculation?




I am working on reading Knit Two. It looks just as cute and cozy as the first. I cannot wait to have time to sit down and read this amazing book. I also have knit for the season so I look forward to reading this around Christmas time.

I'm back :)

Hey !

Here comes the fall again. I love this time of the year. I went to my local craft fair again this year and picked up some wool from blacksheepandewe.

I was wearing their Amelia wool scarf and they noticed so I actually ended up gettting my picture taken for their website! I'll post the link to their site when it's up :) I was so excited and the people were sooo friendly.

I bought a few new wools while I was there to make two ruffle scarves and one cowl. I'll post when I am done them :)

Simple Sunday

Hello!
Happy Sunday, I hope you are all doing well and accomplishing the things you set out to do! I am trying today to get things done, cleaning my room, went to proactice highway driving, and according to my dad, I was excellent! :D my G test is in March, so I still have plenty of time to practice driving along and merging onto the highway..

Knitting To Do's!

I took a photo of my yarn stash this morning and decided to share it with you. I hadn't realised just how much yarn I've accumulated over the years. I see a color i like buy it, and then I guess don't use it. But I will be knitting more I assure you :)

I will be knitting "tube socks" with the colorful yarn soon to start practicing knitting socks :) It's pretty !
