Fluffy Cuff Mittens: step one, decision to make them

Hey all !

Okay so since I HAVE NOT BEEN KNITTING at all! I will be knitting some fluffy cuff mittens I found in my stitch 'n bitch book :) [Stoller, Debbie, pg. 180]
I thought that they looked adorable and why not? just because it's summer, but soon it will be winter and who doesn't need cozy mittens ? :) I am quite excited because i've never taken on a challenge such as this, and hey if I get good, maybe I can knit them for family and friends and maybe my boyfriend? I think he'd love a pair ;)
I am listening to George Michael's "Last Christmas". I just got into the mood, which probably sparked this need to knit the mittens lol. . it makes me want it to be cold outside making it nice and cozy inside.. so romantic :)
Okay so I promise promise promise that I will be posting photos regularly of my progress and they WILL be knitted! :)

summer is beautiful

don't think I've forgotten about all of you ! I am always thinking of you and thinking of what I could possibly write next..

I need to write always to update and tell you you're in my heart :) because knitting is also always in my heart :)

So lately I have been having an awesome summer! I met a great guy and we've been great together and its been really wonderful.

Lately..

I have been feeling saddened by the fact that I am not knitting.. :( I never decided, I am not going to knit anymore. The interest just faded I guess, but there was a time I was almost obsessed with it and about becoming a better knitter and yearning to make clothing and all. I want to be that girl again and pick up those needles! It's a part of who I am now and I am not embracing this self :/
I will pick up the needles tonight and knit something/ anything then post later on.. I also would love to get this blog up and running again I hate that it's been sitting, collecting dust for awhile now...

anyways! I better begin ;)
